Gidday guys, we have finally finished our holidays and are excited to start school again. . . I hope. We are ready to learn about leaders this term.

I hope the Aussie and New Zealand schools had great holidays. I also hope the European and American schools have great holidays.

Every holiday our class has a Holiday Project. We usually do something about ourselves or make something.

The first set of holidays we did a timeline about ourselves. They needed to include some infomation about yourself and some photos.I enjoyed it and have remembered many this that are a bit dusty in my memory. The timelines look great in our classroom and now we know a lot more about each other.

In the second set of the holidays we did a shoebox or diorama about a book, movie, song, play, story, fairy tale or a part of history or somthing we imagined up. We also had to write a explanation about our project, who the characters are and wher it is set. I did a diorama about the book called “The BFG”. It was a fun project and I thought it was like making your own mini world. We have read each others’ projects and think they are very interesting. This set of holidays we are doing a  poster, video, Rock You, Voicethread, game, Voki, booklet, song, T-shirt, book review, Showbag, PowerPoint, brochure, painting, collage, Fact or Information Sheet, book or Bubbleshare about ourselvelves. We have to insert a word in this space: What makes me . . . . . . . . . .

I think I am going to do a Showbag about What Makes Me “Me”.  A showbag is a bag were we put things  that are related to that topic in the bag. I might do my main subject as sport because I love sport.

 You might have read a post earlier that was about district athletics carnival. Well Tuesday the 25th October was a regional carnival and we respresented our district (Wiley Park). We enjoyed it and met up with lots of friends from other schools.

None of us let the district down and worked our legs off!!! We are happy with our result of just getting there. We tried but could not match the ability of the other athletes. We are proud of ourselves and hope to do better next year.

My school has a fast runner though. . . . . . . . . .

Hafiz Gami achieved well in many things such as . . . . . . .

He won 11 years boys 100 metres, long jump, high jump, shotput and discus.He also got second in 11 years boys 200 metres.

Unfortunately, I got last in my Junior girls 200 metres heat and came 21st/24. I came 9th in long jump, just missing out on a 4th jump.
